Our First Project 2007- Agua Viva

In February 2007, eleven Gringa and Gringo volunteers traveled to Agua Viva, Guatemala to assist Mayan villagers in a self help project to construct a two room schoolhouse.  The village already had a school, but many children could not attend for lack of room.  The village had more teachers allocated by the government, but could not accommodate them.  We remedied that by adding a new two room building.
